On this blog site, run by Evan Munday of Coach House Books, Canadian poets talk about their writing & are snapped in the company of their exquisite feline muses. Why has the cat so often been a vital force in the life of a poet? My guess is that cats are equally stealthy, felicitous, sly, fond of treading the liminal realms between domesticity and the wild, mysterious, perhaps devious at times, eager to muck about with what’s forbidden, aloof to those who reprimand, a tad dangerous, intermittently sweet and o so full of dreamings.
