These objects were all gathered between July 2011 and January 2013 from a ragged beach alongside the Fraser River in Vancouver BC. They come from the White Pine mill, demolished in 2003 and left in shards beside the water. Priscilla Brett then posted some of the photos of these objects on her blog as part of a focus on Objectophilia. But for me, they are ghosts from the Museum of Ruins, signs of all we think we have a terrible right to leave behind us in our brutal surging through the world.
